农业科研院所图书馆发展思路与初步实践

Development Ponderation and Preliminary Practice on Libraries of Agricultural Research Institutions

现代图书情报技术的巨大进步为农业科技情报事业的发展既提供了前所未有的机遇 ,又面临严峻的挑战。农业图书馆要在充分利用现有资源实现传统的图书情报服务功能的同时 ,要与时俱进 ,逐步创造条件向文献信息管理的自动化、数字化、网络化方向转化。要加强数字信息资源的引进与利用 ,并积极地开展服务模式的创新。要加强学习 ,提高农业图书情报工作者适应信息网络时代要求的综合素质。本文结合本单位的初步实践 ,阐述了新世纪农业图书情报工作的现状、问题与发展思路。

The enormous progress of modern information technology provides not only an unprecedented opportunity for development,but also poses real challenge. Agricultural library should keep pace with times to transit the traditional model of information service into digitalized and internet web pattern by creating conditions based on full utilization of existing information resources. The introduction and utilization of electronic information resources and innovation of information service should be also strengthened. It is essential to strengthen new knowledge study and improve the comprehensive quality of librarians and information staff in Internet network age. This paper elaborates on the present situation,problems and development ponderation of agricultural libraries in China combined with author's practice.
