摘要
本文以中国佛教的重要经典《楞伽经》为中心 ,探讨了语言与现象、语言的产生、语言与意义、语言与第一义 (本体 )、语言与轮回、语言与解脱等问题。一方面 ,指出了语言是因缘所生法 ,不能显示第一义 ;另一方面 ,语言又具解脱相 ,众生因诸佛菩萨的言说教化而得以解脱。佛教的语言观贯穿了“不立名相”与“非不立名相”的中道精神。
Lankāvatārasūtra which is one of the most important Buddhistic sūtram has discussed language and phenomenon, the origin of language, language and its meaning, language and tathaytā,language and vimukta and so on. On the one hand, language's origin needs causes; on the other hand , people become salvation because of the teaching of Buddha. Buddhistic views on linguistics has the principle of Madhyamaā-pratiped which concludes Independence-of-Terms and not Independence-of-terms.
