摘要
面对新的世纪,国内高校为适应科学技术、社会经济发展的需要,都在对校内的专业设置进行新一轮的调整,对课程设置、教学计划进行着必要的修订.减少必修课学时,增加选修课程已成为我国高校教学改革的一项具体内容.学生入校英语水平的提高,高校的教改等趋势均对当前大学英语教学时数安排带来前所未有的冲击.对此,以新形势下大学英语的教学改革探索为题,我们在2000级本科生中进行了大学英语3+1课程模式的实验.
Facing the new century, most colleges and universities are taking steps to make adjustments and revisions to teaching plans and course arrangements so as to adapt to the need of market oriented economic development. Increasing optional course hours and cutting down compulsory hours have been important contents in teaching reform of higher education. In addition, the improving English level of college students at their entering colleges also inevitably imposes a great deal of pressure on the existing college English teaching arrangements. Under such a challenge, we designed and carried out “3+1' teaching research to explore a more effective teaching mode.
