在英语写作中比较法是最常用的方法之一,它从用一句话来对两个简单的事物进行比较到甚至是用一本书来对两个国家的政治经济文化的比较,其实际使用范围特别广泛。比较法不仅可以用来比较两种事物,也可以用来比较一个事物的两个方面。比较法不仅可以用来描写表示具体意义的比较,还可以用于描写表达抽象意义的比较。

Comparison can be used to compare two sides of an object as well as two objects, and to compare two abstract meanings as well as concrete objects.
