网页设计既是一门全新的设计领域,又是平面设计在信息时代的多元化发展的一个重要方向。文章分析了网页设计与平面设计有着相同的视觉传达和审美目的,但在设计范畴等方面和平面设计有着不同特点。这些不同之处是由网络技术的特性决定的。网页设计是设计艺术与网络技术的结合,是对传统平面设计的延续和革新。

Web page design is a new field of design, and it's also an important direction of graphic design diversified developing directions in the information era. The identical aspects in visual communication and art as well as the different aspects in designing methods of web page and graphic design were analysed. The different aspects in designing methods was desided by the network technology. Web page design is the combination of art design and network technology, and it's the development and innovation of traditional graphic design.
