摘要
“消极应答”分两类 ,一是对请求 (包括恳请、邀请、命令 )的拒绝 ,二是当对方指望赞许 (即肯定、褒奖、赞美等 )的时候给予否定或贬斥。本文借用礼貌原则和面子观的原理对两类消极应答进行了分析 。
Negative answers here fall into two kinds, refusal to requests and negative appraisal to positive appraisal expectation. Admittedly this paper draws upon Politeness Principle and Face Theory in its analysis of negative answers, finishing with their structural characterization and their relation to pragmatic distance.
