摘要
应用多重尺度微扰理论导出了宽度均匀缓变矩形谐振器中吴弧波所服从的非线性方程及其解析解,结果表明,吴弧波恒向窄端加速移动且波形随宽度作微小变化.本文所用的方法原则上可以推广于其他均匀缓变波导中线性波和非线性波的理论研究。
The nonlinear equation governing the Wu's soliton and itsanalytical solution in a channel with uniformly and slowly varyingwidth has been derived using the perturbation theory of multiple scales.The result obtained here predicts that the solitary wave always movestowards the narrow end of the channel with an approximately uniformacceleration which is proportional to the variation rate of the width.Themethod in this paper can be extended in principle to the theoreticalinvestigation of other linear and nonlinear waves in a slowly varyingwave guide.
