叙述了为DBASEⅢ扩充演绎功能的方法,将数据库中的记录作为事实,与用户定义的规则结合起来形成知识库,通过建立知识库的内部存贮结构和推理机制,实现了对数据库进行演绎查询的功能。

In this paper, a method to expand the deduction function ofDBASEⅢ is described.First, we form the information base by using the fact coming fromthe records of database and the rulers defined by the user;then, weconstruct the inner data structure of the information base and the rulers ofthe information base; last, basing on these, we construct the methodwhich can seek the database.
