From Autonomy to Cooperation——The New Idea of University from UNESCO

近来,治理已成为学术界的热点问题,它强调政府的管理应从单边走向多边,即从统治走向治理。治理的理念具有普适性,在大学的管理上同样适用。经典的大学理念强调大学自治、学术自由,认为应由学者行会自己管理自己的事情。现在看来,这种理念不但不可能实现,而且也越来越没有存在的必要。未来的大学在管理方面更多的应强调社会的参与,应致力于建立多方参与的合作伙伴关系。

Recently,governance is becoming a hot topic in academic realm,it emphasizes that the ma n-agement of government should become singular aspect one into multiaspelts one,be from controu into gover-nance.This paper considers that theory of governance can be used in ev ery dis cipline,of course in clud ing high er education.Ac cording to the classic idea of uni versity,which stresses on au ton omy of uni versity and a-cadem ic freedom,everything of the university should be man aged only by scholar guild,but now it is im possi-ble and unnecessary.In the future,university should estab lish collaborative partnership with other so cial or-gani za tions in order to get a good management.
