From Shen Jing's <Complete Register of 'ci' of South China> to Shen zijin's <New Register of 'ci' of South China> , and further down to Shen shidong' s <Selected Classic and Contemporary 'ci'>, the Shen family tradition in studies of 'qu' experienced two stages and formed a cultural tendency extended to the writings of 'ci' and 'qu' by writers of the Shen family. This reveals, in one aspect, the difference in cultural implication between the traditionally well -known family of literature, namely, family characteristics, and literary genres.
