党的十六大确定的新党章中把"三个代表"写进党的性质,赋予了党的性质以与时俱进新内涵,以党执政规律新内涵,以时代先进性新内涵,体现了党的性质不断发展的现实需要,符合党执政规律的客观要求,使党的性质永葆先进性,丰富和深化了党的性质,是对马克思主义党建理论的创新和发展。

The Three Represents as the Party spirit have been written into the New Party Constitution determined by the 16th CCPC. They bestow new connotations on the Party spirit, on the principle of the Party administration as well as the advance of the present time. They embody the real need of the constant developments of the Party spirit in line with the objective demands of the principle of the Party administration. Meanwhile the Three Represents have developed Marxist theories on the Constitution of the Communist Party because they have enriched and deepened the Party spirit.
