明代前后七子的文学理论历来被批评为复古主义理论和形式主义理论。然而 ,他们对文学有着重要的贡献。他们发现文学形式是文学的本位特征。在关照诗歌形式的过程中 ,他们认识到情感之于诗歌的重要意义。进而以情感和形式为中心 ,提出诗歌复古主张 。

The literature theory of Qianhouqizi in the Ming Dynasty has been criticized as the theory about restoring ancient ways and the formalism theory.However,they d id have a new discovery on literature.That was,they found the monetary standards of literature were not only the content,but also the forms of literature.During examing the forms of poems,they found sensibility was also very important to po ems.Centering on sensibility and forms,they put forward to the suggestion on poe ms of restoring ancient ways,so that to point out the direction for the creation of poets in the Ming Dynasty.
