On Whether Rhetoric Belongs to Linguistics de la Parole or Not

围绕修辞学是否属于言语的语言学,语言学界讨论了近半个世纪,迄今分歧依旧。肯定派和否定派的观点都有道理。之所以产生分歧,原因有三:(1)索绪尔《教程》本身不统一、不严密;(2)语言和言语的划分存在多种方案;(3)研究者考虑问题的侧重点有所不同。

Whether rhetoric belongs to linguistics de la parole or not remains a problem which has been discussed for nearly half a century in the field of linguistics in China. The paper introduces and gives comment on the affirmative and negative points of views and claims that they are both reasonable. There are three factors in the divergence: (1) Saussure's General Course of Linguistics is not perfect, (2) there have been various programs in the division of language and parole, and (3) the focuses of attention of researchers are not the same. And finally the paper puts forward a view on the evaluation of this discussion.
