A Study on the Running Mode and Countermeasures for Musical Performance Specialty in Southwest Jiaotong University

我校学科以理工为主,音乐表演专业的任务就是培养专业人才,促进全校大学生的艺术素质和文化素质教育,推动校园文化建设。为此,要构建区别于高师院校音教专业和高等艺术院校音乐专业的新的办学模式:培养在专业技能上高于音教专业、在综合素质上强于专业院校学生的"基础厚,素质高,专业强,后劲足的复合型高级专门艺术人才。"

This paper first expounds the nature and tasks of the musical performance specialty in Southwest Jiaotong University. Then it explains the opportunities and challenges related to the opening of the musical performance specialty. Finally, the paper puts forward a new mode and some countermeasures on how to accelerate the pace of growth of the musical performance specialty in Southwest Jiaotong University.
