This paper presents the method of OS/2 semaphore management from the system point of view. At first, we deal with the management mechanism & the corresponding data structure of OS/2 system semaphores, then we describe the structure, management method & relevant algorithms of RAM semaphore. At last, some special questions about the semaphors are discussed.
