Combining with the traits of economic evaluation system for investment project of urban rail transit, it wasanalyzed the system object, system structure, the choice of development tools, system implementation, and so forth. It alsoexpounded the functions and advantages of VBA and Excel in system development, presented common Excel object modelsand worksheet functions. In the end, it was expressed their experiences in system development.
