An instrument for vehicle braking performance test based on AT89C52 MCU is introduced. The working principle and hardware structure of the instrument are presented. The selection of sensors and the design method of signal processing circuit are discussed. The test results are given and the analysis of the results shows that the instrument has very high accuracy of measurement.
