摘要
介绍一种基于有限带宽网络的多媒体传输服务质量(QOS)解决方案.该方案采用增强的自适应QOS算法,可实现发送端与接收端速率的协调控制、多量化参数(QP)速率形成和自适应前向纠错(FEC).基于标准MPEG-2编码解码方法进行比较实验,结果表明采取该算法不但可以令峰值信噪比(PSNR)减少抖动,而且平均性能提高0.5 dB.
A kind of Quality of Service(QOS) control mechanism is presented to provide the most robust solution for the delivery of multimedia data over band - limited networks. It uses an adaptive and robust QOS algorithm that integrates explicit receiver - sender rate control, rate shaping with multiple quantization parameters and adaptive Forward Error Correction (FEC) . The experimental result indicates that not only an average improvement of 0.5 dB PSNR but also fewer fluctuations can be achieved compared with a standard MPEG - 2 codec performance.
