The True Ways to Cover the Resources Shortage of Higher Education in Dongguan City

东莞理工学院升格为本科和松山湖新校区的建设并不能完全解决东莞青年上大学的问题。解决这一问题的对策是:利用老校园大力发展城市学院和成人教育,扩大教育资源的供给;利用良好的管理和师资条件加上制度创新,努力办好城市学院。

Dongguan Institute of Technology has been upgraded to a university and set up a new school campus in Songshan Lake area, which, however, is still not good enough to completely solve the going-to-university problem of the young people in Dongguan. The only solutions for this problem are to develop the city college and adult education on the present campus, enlarge the educational resources and try to run well the city college by the use of good management and teaching staff, complete with new ideas in the system.
