摘要
本文讨论了三维物体表示形式的好几个方面。首先对建模过程中那些十分关键的表面特征进行讨论,提出了多边形表面表示形式的标准,最后结合实际应用对目前使用的多边形表示形式的平面镶嵌格、三角剖分及分层镶嵌格进行了具体的分析,并对未来进行展望。
This article discusses several factor of 3D surface Representations. Firstly it discusses the surface characteristics that are critical to the modeling process. Secondly it presents the criteria by which polygonal surface representations may be judged. Then it analyzes 3D polygon representations, such as planar tessellations, triangulations of 3D objects and hierarchical tessellations, which are used at present. At last it describes the future of 3D surface representations.
