用语篇分析理论谈口语与书面语

A Remark on Speech and Writing in Terms of the Theory of Discourse Analysis

口语和书面语是语式(mode)的两个次范畴,都在社会中发挥着重要作用。用语篇分析理论,从四个方面对这两个次范畴进行了论述。内容包括:口语与书面语概说、口语与书面语的功能,口语与书面语的形式,口语与书面语的特点。通过讨论,得出结论:口语和书面语是互补的,无优劣之分,区别只在于各自使用的形式不同,展示的语言不同,发挥的功能不同。

Speech and writing are two sub-categories of mode, both of which play important roles in society.In terms of the theory of discourse analysis, discusses these two sub-categories in four aspects: a survey of speech and writing functions of speech and writing, the form of speech and writing and linguistic characteristics of speech and writing. A conclusion is drawn from the discussion: Speech and writing are generally complementary. One is not secondary to the other. Spoken and written languages have different forms, different linguistic characteristics and different functions.
