An inverse problem of the free boundary problem for the flow of non-Newtonian fluids with the yield stress τ is studied. The existence and uniqueness of the solution {τ,λ(t),p(x,t)} of the inverse problem for given k=κ/μ, Q and the first boundary value p_0(x),g(t) is obtained.
