摘要 本文探讨了林菲尔德学院ESL中心所进行的ESL多媒体教学模式,即如何学习纸质印刷教材、观看电影录像和研究互联网超文本教材来延伸专业知识学习,提高学生语言技能和专业学习技能,同时,学生必须使用英语收集信息,分析专业问题以及相关概念,以便掌握专业教材里的语言结构和词汇。 This paper deals with the multimedia teaching mode conducted by the ESL Center of Linfield College. Namely how to enable the students to further their specialized knowledge via the method of studying the paper-printing textbooks, watching video tape, and studying the super-textbooks on the Internet in order to improve the students' language competence as well as their abilities of learning specialized knowledge.
