The CPC'S Initial Attempts and their Significance of Attracting Capital of the Overseas Chinese at the time of Anti-Japanese War

抗战时期,中国共产党边区经济发展的策略是以自力更生为主,争取外援为辅的,因而引进侨资作为引进外援的一部分,在边区经济发展中所占的位置并不是很突出,但是作为引进侨资的首期尝试,抗战时期的引进侨资,还是具有了特别历史意义的。

The first record of the Communist Party of China's bringing in capital of overseas Chinese dates back to the time of the Anti-Japanese War.The papers Resolution on the Current Political Situation and the Mission of the CPC, drawn by the Central Committee of the CPC in December, 1935, was the first document when bringing in the capital of overseas Chinese was mentioned in the CPC's major documents. The North-Western Enterprise of Overseas Chinese is quite a successful instance of it in this period. Direct investments from the overseas Chinese have contributed to the prosperity of the remote areas' economy. Meanwhile, they were the actual results that reflected the thought of CPC's bringing in the capital of overseas Chinese. It is of great significance both in history and in reality for the CPC to do the initial attempts of bringing in the capital of overseas Chinese during the War of Resistance Against Japan.
