The merger of and the conflict between Chinese and Western culture has become an inevitable social phenomenon following China's entry into the WTO. This phenomenon has both positive and negative impacts on the ideological construction of our Party. We must, in line with important thinking of 'three represents', judge the hour and size up the situation, guide the matter along its course of development, make new creations relating to the contents and method of the work so as to raise our Party's ideological construction to an higher level.
