摘要
在我国液化气船刚处于起步阶段,我国政府和相关机构抓住机遇,研究发展此类特种船型,有着鲜明的时代特色.这不仅可以提高我国造船业的竞争力,带动相关产业发展,而且将为我国的能源战略和调整运输结构产生重要而深远的影响.
The article briefed us the feasibility of building LNO carriers in China and analyzed it from the angle of CCS: in early 1980's, CCS sent its staff abroad to investigate and study about LPG carriers; in early 1990's, CCS began to survey such carrier; in 10 years, CCS has undertaken drawing approval, construction survey and in-service survey of more than 40 LPG carriers, trained a large group of very experienced surveyors and published relevant rules covering this type of carriers. Second, from the angle of domestic conditions, China ranks the third in world shipbuilding. Many large domestic shipyards have built ships of all types and gained rich experience. Looking from history and the reality, Chinese shipyards are fully capable of undertaking the construction of LNG carriers. LNG building in China will inevitably provide us with a historical opportunity and challenge.
