谁来维护货主的利益?

摘要 中国加入WTO,世界一片欢腾.近年来,我国外经贸事业的发展有目共睹,到2000年全国的进出口总额达4743亿美元,其中出口达2494亿美元,这决定了我国国际航运市场进入了快速发展的轨道,令人欢欣鼓舞.但从目前的发展形势看,有一个问题愈来愈突出--外资航运企业以班轮公会的名义统一行动,联合提价,特别是收取名目繁多的附加费,这一垄断行为使中国货主遭受不公正的对待,利益受损,增加了不少额外负担.为此,中国的广大货主大声疾呼:谁来维护我们的利益? China's accession to WTO was such an excitement to the world. In recent years, China's foreign trade has recorded an outstanding development. But, at present, the foreign invested shipping enterprises are taking unified actions to raise the price, charging various additional fees through liners association, which has made the Chinese cargo owners face unfair treatment and impaired their interests. To this, cargo owners' associations in China are being established one after another, which is certainly conducive to cargo the owners. But the national cargo owners association was just given birth, there is still a long way to go. So, cargo owners should work more closely to strengthen their ties with the association and make full use of the special role of the association to better protect their own interests.
