重庆是中国最大的直辖市，又是古老巴渝文化的发祥地。其丰厚的历史文化遗存，滋养和培育了古老的重庆文学；大禹娶妻重庆涂山，神女定居三峡巫山，“灵山十巫”升降巫溪──这些上古时代的神话传说，从烟波浩淼的历史海洋一直延续至今，使我们评然心动，悠然神往。
With its rich historical heritage, Chongqing, the cradle of Ba and Yu cultures and the largest municipality in China, cultivated the ancient Chongqing literature. Archaic legends, like Dayu wiving in Tushan. The Fairy Residing in Wushan in the Three Gorges, Ten Witches of Soul Mountain Ascending and Descending in Wuxi, are still told today which touch and fascinate the heart of people.
