本文重点论述膨胀土地基对建筑物的危害性受气象条件制约。根据实测资料,对膨胀土地基上,建筑物破坏原因进行了分析;在此基础上,提出了确定基础埋深的方法及地基设计应注意的几点原则。本文对膨胀土地基事故的预防和治理具有一定价值。

Tills paper stresses the controlling meteorological conditions of swelling soils (?)ausing building damages. The causes of these damages are analysed with the observaton data. upon these bases, the methods to determine the foundation depths and the principles of design are presented. This paper may serve as a guide to prevent accidents and improve the foundations built on swelling s(?)ils.
