This paper introduces the structural principle and technical parameters of CB and ZB type thin—wall soil samplers. The influences of the structural parameters upon the quality of soil samples are analysed. The comparative behaviour testings betWeen ordinary sampler and thin-wall sampler are described. The various factors influencing the disturbance are analysed. This provides a basis for the manufacture and improVement of thin-wall soil samplers.
