W3C creates the technical specifications regarded by the Web Community at large as 'Web standards', but to lead the Web to its full potential, it must ensure that its deliverables - W3C Recommendations - are implemented correctly. W3C has decided to take a new lead in improving the quality of implementation for W3C technologies. This paper will introduce this new W3C Quality Assurance Activity by presenting the goals, scope objectives and structure of activity.
