Comparison of name customs of Chinese and English from cultural perspective

汉英民族由于受不同民族文化的影响而形成了不同的姓名习俗。本文拟从汉英民族的价值观念和伦理观念等文化因素入手,比较汉英姓名习俗上的异同。

Chinese and English develop in different cultural background and have formed different customs of naming. This paper tries to make a comparison between the name customs of Chinese and English nations from the perspectives of values and ethics.
