在对短信息业务 (SMS)通信中的AT指令、收发短信息的格式、编码与解码方法、全球定位系统(GPS)数据格式等进行简要介绍的基础上 ,介绍了基于SMS设计的远程数据传输系统的软硬件设计方案。该系统由全球移动通信系统 (GSM )、GPS、地理信息系统 (GIS)及其它硬件与软件构成 ,其研究内容包括GPS的通信协议和解码方法、SMS的通信协议和编码解码方法、单片机与计算机的通信、数据库的建立与管理等。可实现对远程车辆状态的定位、查询、跟踪、监控、监听、遥控 ;对车辆的管理、调度、运行统计、报表生成、轨迹回放等 ;以及对显示图形的连续缩放等。该系统经实践验证 。

The AT instructions for SMS communication, short messages format, coding and decoding method, GPS data format etc. are introduced in this paper. Then, a design scheme for teledata transmission system based on SMS is proposed. The system can locate, query, track, supervise and control the vehicles long distance away, and the system is composed of GSM, GPS, GIS and other hardware/software. It also has the functions of vehicles management, running statistics, forms reporting, contrail redisplay and continuous zoom for display graph. The system has been tested and a satisfactory effect has been obtained.
