大功率高效率掺铒超荧光光纤光源及其应用 被引量:18

High Power,High Efficiency Erbium-doped Superfluorescent Fiber Source and its Applications

摘要 采用光纤反射环镜和双程后向结构 ,得到了最大输出功率 30 .6mW、光光转换效率 4 2 .0 %的大功率、高效率全光纤掺铒超荧光光源 (SFS) 利用串接光纤光栅 (FBG)和光纤型F P腔 ,对其进行光谱分割 ,得到了稳定的多波长输出 A fiber loop mirror is employed in an erbium-doped double pass backward (DPB) superfluorescent fiber source (SFS), to realize a robust all-fiber SFS. Output power as high as 30.6 mW with pump efficiency of 42.0% is achieved under the pumping of 980 nm Laser Diode (LD). Three fiber Bragg gratings (FBG′s) are utilized for the purpose of spectrum slicing. A rather stable tri-wavelength fiber source is got with total output power of 0.401 mW in the absence of any amplifier. A self-made fiber Fabry-Perot cavity is used for spectrum slicing, too. It brings out a multi-wavelength output with ~0.8 nm channel spacing, which satisfies the requirements of ITU standard. Experimental results and discussions will be useful in manufacture of SFS based multi-wavelength fiber sources.
