摘要
听力理解能力是外语学习者应首先具备的语言能力。近年来,随着人们对听力能力在语言学习中的重要作用的不断认识,培养学生的听力理解能力成为外语教学的重中之重。为此,《高等学校英语专业英语教学大纲》对学生的听力能力做出了具体要求。TEM(Test for English Majors)考试中的听力测试正是为了检查各高校对大纲的执行情况而设置的。本文通过对近五年TEM考试听力试题的分析,肯定了,TEM听力试卷的专业性和权威性,同时指出了试卷中存在的两点不足之处,并对进一步完善,TEM听力测试提出了建议。
Listening comprehension constitutes the most important ability language learners should possess. Language workers' increasing progress in their knowledge of language learning makes it a natural outcome of their laying more stress on cultivating language learners' listening ability, hence the concrete requirement of English majors' listening ability prescribed in Teaching Syllabus for English Majors of Higher Learning of Education. In order to check the implementation of the syllabus,TEM was established. By analyzing the latest five sets of listening papers of TEM,the author,not being blind to their imperfections,speaks highly of their professionalism and authoritativeness. In the end,four suggestions are put forward for reference.
