摘要
文章介绍了拉曼放大器(RA)与掺铒光纤放大器(EDFA)组成的混合放大器在10Gbit/sSDH系统中的应用.在160km的G.652光纤线路中,在没有前向纠错(FEC)的情况下,采用混合放大器能够将系统的接收灵敏度提高到-37.5dBm.将采用混合放大器的系统结构与另外两种系统结构进行比较和分析,指出混合放大器的优越性.
In this paper, the application of the hybrid optical amplifier in long-haul transmission system is discussed. The hybrid amplifier consists of a distributed Raman amplifier and an erbium doped fiber amplifier, of course a tunable filter. System sensitivity can be improved to -37.5 dBm after 160km's transmission without FEC. Two other system configurations are also discussed and the advantage of the hybrid optical amplifier is analyzed in theory.
