摘要
培养和提高学生的阅读理解能力是大学专业英语阅读课教学的主要目的。对于教学大纲、教学目的、阅读能力、阅读过程的不同认识直接影响了教材和教法的选用 ,影响了课堂教学活动的开展 ,以及教学模式的制定。本篇以新的阅读理论和教学实践为基础 ,讨论了阅读课的教学目的、阅读能力以及阅读过程 ,提出了阅读课教学模式 。
Training and promoting learners' reading ability is the main purpose of extensive reading course for college English majors. On account of the different understanding of syllabus, teaching purpose, reading ability, reading process and reading model, a direct effect is exerted upon the selection of textbooks, teaching methods, classroom activities and the formation of teaching models. This paper, based on the new theories of reading and teaching practice, discusses the teaching purpose, reading ability and reading process and puts forward the teaching model for extensive reading. Obviously it is a beneficial effort to research on and find out the teaching principles of extensive reading.
