数字是语言科学中的一个特殊领域,它的基本功能是计算。但在文学作品特别是诗歌中数字往往并不表示确切的数量概念,而只是一个泛化的虚数,这就是数字的语义模糊现象。数字的这种语义模糊性有时会给我们的翻译工作带来一定的难度。因此,有必要从数字的模糊语义出发,探讨英汉语文学作品中对数字的处理方法。

Figures are a very special part in the science of linguistics.They are basically used to calculate.However,figures do not always express the exact numbers in literary works,especially in poems.In this case,they are only the imaginary numbers,and these are phenomena of figures'semantic vagueness,which makes it difficult to translate during the translation process.This paper,from figures'semantic vagueness,discusses several methods of translation of figures in both Chinses and English literary works.
