An Investigation on regulations of Duruo(读若) for Phonetically Annotating Xingshengzi(形声字)in Shuowen(说文)

本文从分析声符丧失标音作用的具体原因入手,归纳出《说文解字》中形声字的“读若”注音条例:因声符字生僻而设;因形声字与其声符读音背离而设;因同一声符之形声字读音分化而设;因声符字多音而设。

By analyzing the causes of Shengfu(声符) losing phonetic function thePresent paper summarizes the law of Duruo(读若) for phonetically annotating XingShengzi(形声字) in Shuowen Jiezi(说文解字).the causes are:the rarity of Shengfuzi(声符字), the deviation of Xingshengzi(形声字) from Shengfu(声符), the sound diversification of Xingshengzi(形声字) with the same Shengfu(声符), the multiplicity of Shengruzi(声符字) in pronunciation.
