Briefing on the Measures of Reducing and Preventing the Disasters of Ancient Hunan

湖南素为自然灾害频发地区。古代曾采取过兴修水利、植树造林、指导农耕等减灾防灾措施,对减缓灾害危害的烈度具有一定的意义。

Hunan has always been a region of frequent natural disasters in the history. Many measures such as building the dames, planting trees to form forest and guiding the farming, have been taken to reduce and prevent the disasters. These measures, more or less, work in easing the disaster.
