老子的循环论是正确理论

循环论受到学界的一致批判,老子的循环论自然也不能例外。但我们认为:一般情况下,在一个相对短的时期内去观察,事物的发展是递进的;在一个相对长的时期内去观察,事物的发展是循环的。因此,老子的循环论是正确理论,同时老子也不否认事物的递进式发展。老子一方面承认事物循环是必然的,另一方面却又想阻止这一循环,这是其理论上的不足。
