The convening of the Fifth National Congress of the CCP had close ties with the Communist International, which was formerly ignored by the academe. The author analyzes the contacts carefully and indicates that the preparatory work of the Fifth National Congress of the CCP was organized directly by the Communist International, the agenda of the congress was dominated by Luo Yi, the representative from the Communist International, and all the resolutions passed at the congress were drawn up according to the Communist International's resolution on the Chinese revolution.
