薛昂夫是元代可自立门户的维吾尔族曲家,其咏史怀古的散曲多体现了对传统儒家道德观念和人生追求的叛逆色彩,而叹世乐闲的散曲受老庄思想影响,表现了对传统文人"清逸"精神衣钵的继承。其人其文在民族文化的融合中极富个性色彩。

Xue Angfu was a Uygur lyricist who established his own style in Yuan Dynasty. Most of his verses,with the blackground of meditating history and intoning nostalgia,embody the revolts againist the traditional ethics and Confucian phylosophy ,while some of his verses,in the mood of sighing on the ways of Lao Zi and Zhuang Zi,show the derivation from the traditional spirit of ancient scholars-aloofness。The very personality and the very verses culturally have rich charateristics in the merge of national cultures and in the process of the nationality cultures and in the process of his choosing to be transformed to the Han nationality.
