For more than 100 years, people have argued for the form of Dead Souls. Dead Souls has wide field of vision that include all sides of Russian society in the first half 19th century; it has a profound significance by discussing the philosophic question of getting the national rejuvenation. The lyric narration and the distinctively dependent chapters are identical with the epics. With which it is regarded as a great Russian epic reflecting all the Russia.
