Commentaries on Japan's Government Intervention in Economy:

日本资本主义市场经济始自明治维新。随着资本主义近代产业的“移植”和发展,日本逐步引进了西方传统的资本主义经济体制,被称为“移植资本主义”。但是,日本的资本主义市场经济体制从脱胎时起,就带有极明显的封建性、军事性和垄断性。因而在其经济运行过程中,传统的自由市场经济机制从一开始就受到政府干预这只“看得见的手”的强劲操纵。普遍认为,在现代市场经济中,各国政府都对宏观经济进行调节,没有政府干预的纯粹自由市场经济并不存在。但日本的市场经济体制与欧洲大陆国家的市场经济体制有明显不同,与盎格鲁—撒克逊型市场经济体制也有重大区别。

Japan's capitalist market economy started since the Meiji Reformation,With the 'transplanting 'and development of capitalist modern industries,traditional capitalist economic system of the West was gradually introduced into Japan and was called 'transplanted capitalism' .However,ever since the emergence of the Japanese capitalist market economy system.it has already been tainted by evident feudalism,militarism and monopoly.Hence,in the course of its economic operations,the traditional mechanism of free market economy has been subjected to the vigorous manipulation by the'visible Hand'-government intervention.lt is generally thought that all govemmetnts make macro-economic regualtions in modem market economy.A pure free market economy without government intervention is nonexistent .Yet,the Japanese market economic system is apparently different form those of the European mainland Countries and it also differs greatly from the market economic system of the Anglo-Saxon type.
