实验验证了碳酸盐对平菲耳特法测定化合水的影响,提出用室温下水蒸汽饱和的空气排除管内CO_2以消除其干扰。

In the analysis of samples containing carbonates, some of the carbon dioxide liberated during the heating remains in the Penfield tube and interfers with determination. The error can be eliminated by passing a flow of air saturated with water vapour through the tube to displace the carbon dioxide.
