The Features of China′s Logistics Development and Suggested Policies

物流业的出现带动了传统生产、运输、服务、存储行业的深刻革命,它在国民经济活动中的地位和重要性日渐突出,被视为新的经济增长点以及国民经济第三大利润源泉。进入WTO的中国,其物流业的发展,必须依据自身的国情特点满足产业升级的要求,适应经济全球化的趋势,科学布局,规范管理,优化资源配置和产业环境,以提高产业的关联度、幅射力和综合效益。

The popularity of logistics brought about revolutionary changes in areas of traditional production, transportation, tertiary and storage. Obviously, its importance in national economic activities is growing rapidly. For this reason, logistics has been regarded as a new point of economic growth, and the third profit source for national economy. With China's entry into WTO, the development of logistics in China needs to be considered strategically. Economic traits of the country must be prioritized so as to meet the needs of industry escalation, and also to adapt itself to the globalization trend. Besides, it is also important for the industry to have a scientific layout, standardized management, optimized resource configuration and industry environment, and to increase its internal integration, radiation, and comprehensive efficiency.
