先前大多数人认为郭嵩焘是洋务派中的一员。本文从经济、政治、教育等几个方面把郭嵩焘和洋务派进行了比较 。
Most scholars thought that Guo Songtao had been one of the 'Westernization Movement' sect. Afetr making a comparison between Guo and the 'Westernization Movement' sect in economy, politics and education, the essay holds him to be a capitalist reformist.
