摘要
元人郑廷玉《看钱奴》 ,在中国戏曲史上具有相当的地位。但迷信成份极其浓厚 ,宣扬了果报观念和宿命观念。苏位东先生对原作采取了“砍头去尾留中段”的手术 ,即去掉第一折和第四折 ,把第二、第三折丰富和发展 ,使《看钱奴》讽刺喜剧的特点更加突出 ,更有时代意义。
The Miser,originally written by Zheng Tingyu of the Yuan Dynasty,was a famous satirical comedy.Owing to its social background,the opera has no lack of expressions involving superstition and retribution.The adaptation of this opera by Su Weidong is a good effort by highlighting the satirical meaning,thus attaching practical significance to the classical opera.
