The bona fide possession system ,as a system of obtaining the property possession, is established in modern civil law. It plays a very important role in ensuring the safety of commodity exchange. The author tends to make a resesch on the basic theory of bona fide possession system,especially on the components and the legal effects of bona fide possession. We hope that both China civil code and real right law will be established as soon as possible in order to establish Chinese bona fide possession system.
